• High-speed Wire EDM Machines compete with more traditional machining processes, such as; milling and grinding.
• Parts can be cut after material is hardened. This eliminates the possible distortion caused by the heat treat process.
• Wire EDM is a non-contact process. This eliminates machining forces that can cause distortion.
• Repeatability between parts is extremely high. This is due to the fact that there is no cutter wear as in conventional machining.
